A tribute to nature.
In collaboration with the National Park Foundation, Adidas has created a pack that consists of three ZX models and an Adilette. With their designs, the ZX models are inspired by three different national parks. The upper of the ZX series is made out of a mix of suede and smooth leather and CORDURA nylon.
The Adidas Originals Adilette “National Parks” is meant to highlight the connection to nature and is dedicated to the organization itself. Easy and quick to slip into whether after a long day of hiking or to watch the sunrise early in the morning. The all-rounder is dressed in a navy blue CORDURA nylon upper. On the strap, you can find the logo of the National Park Foundation.
With the ZX 8000 “National Parks” the Yellowstone National Park is thematically picked up in the color palette. The upper features brown and natural tones and is highlighted by blue accents. This design creates a reference to the landscape of Yellowstone National Park. Here you will find a hydrothermal system that shapes the landscape.
The bright design of the ZX 9000 “National Parks” is based on the Glacier National Park in Montana. White, grey and blue tones reflect the colors of the glaciers and set the scene.
The ZX 10000 “National Parks” was inspired by the Crater Lake National Park. The color scheme is based on blue and white-grey tones. A combination of navy and navy blue makes the upper stand out and is complemented by the white overlays. Accents in a lighter blue and salmon pink further round out the design.
Each ZX model represents a major national park and the colors on the individual sneakers are based on the colors of the region. On the tongue are matching labels of the national parks, and on the insole are the corresponding maps printed.
