AFEW x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Kizuna”

It all started in 2015 with the Koi. The release has paved a way for us, with which new doors have opened. Now comes the next chapter.

AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III “Beauty of Imperfection CP 1/1”

Thanks to you guys and your votes, we had the opportunity to work on another great project with @asics_sportstyle. You guys voted, we made it happen and the result is the rarest ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III pair. The AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III “Beauty of Imperfection CP 1/1” was created together with the community. The inspiration can be found in the Wabi-Sabi Philosophy. This is also found in the tear-away upper, which changes the upper of the shoe. There is only 1 pair of the shoe worldwide (size US 9), which comes along with a Special Box, a tea table by Herschel Heck.

Herschel Heck aka @hck_interior_concepts_art designed a custom tea table also inspired by our “Wabi-Sabi” theme. Made from locally and sustainably sourced oak wood, treated with the “Shou Sugi Ban” method and finished with a brass plate on top. The tea table is truly a one-of-a-kind custom box for the AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III “Beauty of Imperfection CP 1/1”.

The tea table and 1-of-1 AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III “Beauty of Imperfection CP 1/1” will be available via raffle and one ticket costs 5€. For more info, head over to IG @afewstore.

The Event

The shoe will be raffled within an IG live event. Thereby you will get to know more background information about the shoe. Besides the drawing of the winner, you will also get a first preview of upcoming Asics collaborations. You can also buy multiple tickets per person for the IG Live event. The entire proceeds will be donated to the children and youth hospice Regenbogenland.

The Regenbogenland

Project is from the community for the community. 100% of the proceeds go to the Förderverein Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Düsseldorf e.V. Regenbogenland lives exclusively from donations.

The Regenbogenland Children’s and Youth Hospice is a facility for children and young people who have only a limited life expectancy due to a life-shortening illness or a severe disability. Parents and siblings are also supported here and accompanied during this time. For the families, Regenbogenland should be like a second home. Here, the focus is on life and the joy of living, and the remaining time is designed to be as positive and fulfilling as possible for family and child.
