When we had the idea for the Le Coq Sportif R1000 “Grand Depart”, it was quickly clear that only a “Made in France” production would come into question. Since 2010, the French company has again been producing in its home country, more precisely in Romilly-sur-Seine. During production, it is extremely important to Le Coq that the materials used also come from domestic areas. It’s clear that 4-digit quantities can’t be produced here, but that’s exactly what makes it so appealing. We are more than proud to call a “Made in France” R1000 our own and to release it at the start of the tour in Düsseldorf. It could not have been more fitting. Released will be the “Grand Depart” R1000 on 01.07.2017, with 50 pairs instore and 50 pairs available online.
