adidas ZX 8000 “Out There”

The history of the ZX Series dates back to the mid-80’s. After all, this is where the running community was presented with mass-made adidas running sneakers. Right at the forefront of innovation, the three-stripes decided to take a less conventional approach.

Originally developed by Jacques Chassaing, these series focused on two main running styles: professional and leisure running. It took no time to become a success even amongst casual wearers as well.

Lately, we have witnessed the release of many unique A-ZX iterations. Dubbed “Out There”, the new adidas ZX 8000 comes geared with Velcro strips (London, Paris or 1989) and a detachable pouch.

Its pitch black canvas upper contrasts with a tiger camo tongue, lining and heel, portraying an outdoor-y look and feel. Further elements are also present, mainly in hues of olive green, making this pair rather perfect for the urban jungle.

The most important part does not meet the naked eye. Ready to take you for any new adventure, and just like its original version, this adidas ZX 8000 “Out There” still boasts its Torsion System with a built-in arch allowing for great on feet support. All of this is hidden within a crisp white midsole and gum outsole.
