A huge thank you to everyone who attended our AFEW UNITY JAM BLOCK PARTY. To everyone who supported us and celebrated with us.

Titled Unity – Einigkeit, the AFEW Unity Jam Block Party took place on September 03, 2022. With free drinks like Paulaner Spezi, Proviant and Chiemseer and free food from @mataas.kitchen in sunny weather, we welcomed all guests to the colorfully decorated courtyard. The entire block party was accompanied musically by @taimles‘ DJ set. Besides great conversations, music and drinks & food, the event had even more in store. Everyone could shoot some hoops on the open streetball court. Or compete with their friends or other event visitors. There was also a basketball show with @dsbasketball_camps and a spectacular dunk show with @njf_nicho.6 and some more. The event program was rounded off with a fantastic dance performance by @40village. Our little ones also got their money’s worth with face painting and bobby cars. Foosball and airfield hockey tables also provided a lot of fun for young and old.

But with this event, we did not only celebrate our summer party and the release of the new Air Jordan IV Retro “Black Canvas”. But especially our team member Alpha @mini_vineur_jr. As a special guest, we not only got to tell and listen to his story but also design another part on his canvas together with him. We were not only able to welcome the African Community Empowerment e.V. at the event. We were also able to celebrate our successful collaboration with AWO. AWO supports refugees, helps them to integrate into their new home, and also to get a foothold in the job market. Just as Alpha has managed to become an integral part of our team after fleeing his home country of Guinea.

Once again a big thank you to all who helped to make the whole thing possible and of course to all who were there and celebrated life and unity with us.
