Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Patent Bred”

When you think of sneakers, there is one that comes to mind –

The iconic Air Jordan 1.

The Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore in 1984 but only made it to the public later in April of 1985. Nevertheless, release after release, retro after retro, they remain a true classic and a must-have for any aficionado.

Arguably the most important model in footwear history, this basketball silhouette has achieved cult status throughout the years. The Air Jordan 1 has been rocked from the hardwood to the streets, in recent times.
The black and red colorway, or Bred if you wish, was “Banned” from the NBA as it did not match the dress code rules. Michael Jordan was fined 5000$ every time he wore them. Well, by looking at it from a different and recent perspective, it was worth every penny, just like this iteration.
The Air Jordan 1 “Patent Bred” is just like the original. However, with a luxe feel to it.

Underneath, it is business as usual – white midsole, red outsole, and Air. Although, even though it has been done before in other releases, it is dressed in patent leather, displaying a black and red colorway across the whole upper. Lastly, tonal black laces round this very special pair.
We may argue that this is the best way to start 2022.
