Retro look meets timeless sports style of the 80s

Autry became known as “the shoe with the American flag”. Founded in 1982 in Dallas, Texas, the American brand gained great fame as a sports brand in America. The brand also won several awards thanks to innovations in design and technical features.

In 2019, the brand relaunched internationally and delighted customers around the world. With the Autry Medalist, the 2020 summer collection was launched.

Medalist

The Medalist convinces with its simple and timeless design. This classic design of the low-top sneaker with the flat sole is based on a tennis shoe and thus hits exactly the currently so popular retro vibe. The Medalist was originally developed as a sports all-rounder. It was meant to cover tennis and running, but also aerobics. A sporty vintage look is provided by a perforated toebox in addition to the flat sole. The sole is (almost) always in an off-white, which adds to the vintage vibe. The upper is made of smooth leather or suede and there are also no limits to color variations. Whether the entire upper or only details on the heel and overlays. As an all-rounder and with its beautiful and simple design, it is a perfect everyday companion that is easy to combine.

Dallas

Also with the Dallas Low, Autry’s success is further secured by the classic style. The new silhouette is also based on the retro tennis vibe. However, the heel overlay sets itself apart from the rest of the upper. The toebox is also not perforated. Instead, there is a perforation on the side next to the trademark American flag.

Mid

The Autry Action Shoes Mid are the counterpart to the Medalist. Here, the classic low-top silhouette is transformed into a higher mid version. In addition to the leather upper, there are also mesh elements that are incorporated into the sneaker. The trademark, the small American flag on the side may not be missing from any of the Autry Action Shoe models.
