Thank you to everyone who participated in our Japan Day event, celebrated with us, and supported us.

On May 13, it was finally that time again. After a long time of planning and constantly hoping for good weather, we were happy to welcome you to Three Little Birds. Like last year, we were again represented with a small booth in the open-air bar “Three Little Birds”. Fitting for Japan Day, we hosted a special event with our friends from @threelittlebirds.bar starting at 12 pm. To support the organization KRASS e.V., we sold the ASICS X AFEW GEL-LYTE III OG “B.O.I” sneaker from 3-6 pm. With the purchase of a sneaker, the entire amount was donated to a good cause. Thanks to your numerous support we were able to donate 3400€ to the organization KRASS e.V. with this charity action.

KRASS e.V. (@krass.for.kids) has been giving disadvantaged children and young people free access to cultural education since 2009. Through education, art and culture, they create a new perspective. We, the AFEW team, also want to enable all children – regardless of their family, cultural or social background – to have a successful education.

In addition to the charity action, there were also other booths, such as a decoration booth with “tatami mats”, but also the little ones did not miss out. An origami artist was also on hand to craft with the kids from 2:30-6 pm. In between all the great talks, there were delicious drinks and snacks. As another special, @taimles and @davidparishcrooks put on music. With the best view of the Japan Day fireworks at night, a great day was concluded.

Again, a huge thanks to everyone who helped make it all possible and of course to everyone who was there and supported us. “Three Little Birds” made it possible for us to start the summer season and come together. Thanks to everyone who was there and supported us and KRASS e.V.!
