The Nike Air Max 90 will celebrate its 30th birthday next year. Three decades of the wildest colorways and materials have been packed onto this iconic silhouette. Now comes the “New Species” – a Colorway like you have never seen before. On this style, this nickname matched perfectly.

For the release we have come up with something special. We brought the luxury sports car manufacturer Bugatti into the project. Bugatti is always reinventing itself and every new model is defined as a “new species” of hypercar. Just as Nike – like always they are showing us an outstanding product with the Air Max 90 “New Species”. Furthermore, the up-and-coming rap superstar Reezy is also part of this project. His style and his music fits perfectly to the theme. With his album “Teenager Forever” the artist shows a clean combo of rap and R’n’B. He also belongs to the new “kind” of artists who can rap and sing.

New Species

The leather sneaker in Pure Platinum grey is especially striking because of the scale pattern which can be found on the middle applications and on the tongue of the sneaker. Another eye-catcher is of course the poison green midsole and swoosh, which unfortunately is not fluorescent. But it is slightly transparent. This fits perfectly to the snake and the “New Species” theme. The combination of the light grey and the poison green is perfectly highlighted with the beige lining.
