RECAP AIR MAX DAY 2023 – MAXXED OUT

A big thank you to everyone who visited us at our digital vernissage and joined in the party mightily.

For this year’s Air Max Day, the goal was to break out. Out of our comfort zone, out of our daily rhythm and we did it!

 

Last Saturday, the 26.03.2023, it started at 5 pm with a vernissage, in the Bollwerk on our Air Max Day. This showcased digital art from a wide variety of artists and identities, using the latest technological means to let off steam creatively and set new boundaries and break through old ones.

A big thank you to our artists Amelie @amelierunkel, Kenneth @_umweg_, Mirek @_m_irek, Kaum @kaum, and Rami @dieser_rami, who sparked a lot of interest in the topic among the visitors and gave us a glimpse into their world.

   

 

From 7 pm the evening event started with refined sounds and tones, where a wide variety of music artists brought the Bollwerk to life.

Again, a big thank you to Vivid @vivid.1000, Hülle @huelle.1000 & Kling @kling.1000 from 1000Grooves @1000grooves, and Bedschun @bedschun. Most of all, thanks to the main act MCR-T @kolegajj, who made the hall shake. With his vision, his sounds, and his character he heated up the atmosphere mightily.

The AFEW team thanks you for the numerous visitors, despite the restrictive strike situation. Our goal through “Maxxed Out” was to try something new, to test our own limits and break out of them! We are looking forward to the coming year!
